Hi Kerry...215AS.... You can get the shaft out without removing the rudder....Prop off, turn rudder full lock and the shaft will pass it with a couple of inches to spare...CheersDave

Cluais,Just looked and yes, it looks to be just fine.Recommended oil temp in gearbox when running is between 60 to 90 degrees.CheersDave

Morning lads,fitted one of these at winter lay up, boat (215, VW100hp) back in the water yesterday, new cutlass, shaft seal and prop repitched and balanced, pushed the boat out and got her coppercoated...
